Web – Phone (BETA)

Description
The new ImpactPBX web-based phone application provides the following functionality:

  • Making calls

  • Receiving calls

  • On hold

  • Transfer Call

  • Call Extensions and Contacts

  • View Call History

  • View Voicemail

In order to be able to access the web-based phone application, the admin needs to assign a user to your extension.

Create a user

  1. Navigate from the left menu to users.

2. Press the add user button (+) on the top right toolbar.

3. Fill the below mandatory details (As per the below screenshots):

  • Username

  • Password

  • Confirm password

  • Email

  • Group (Select from the drop-down list)

  • Set the enable value to “True”

Assign a user to an extension

  1. Navigate from the left menu to Extensions

  2. Edit your extension

  3. Under the user field select the user for the specific extension

Access the new web-based phone application

  1. Use your credentials to login into your ImpactPBX domain (example: https://yourcompanyname.impactpbx.com)

  2. Click on the icon of the web-phone client as shown below

Important note: The web phone application is in BETA version and it may be subdue to changes and bug fixes in future releases
