A group defines the trading specifications in the MT4/MT5 trading accounts where margins, leverages and currency are used to group different accounts.
Once the groups have been created, they get synced automatically onto CRM through the pump tool.
This Guide assumes that the groups have already been created
To View the groups synced on CRM, Navigate to:
Settings > Trading Platforms > Groups
You can choose the ‘'Platform Groups’' you would like to view in the drop down section on the top left side of the page
To edit a group through CRM, navigate to:
Settings > Trading Platforms > Groups
Press on ‘'Pencil’' icon
Edit the information you want
Account Type e.g Standard to VIP
Override leverage - If the leverage is not overridden then the CRM will choose the default set leverage
Default (yes/no) - A group will need to be marked as default in the case where a client chooses an account type linked with several groups, if it’s not marked as default then CRM will select the first group on the list.
After changes have been applied , click on save.
Important Note:
1.Default only applies when an account has more than one groups with the same the currency
2. if you wish to change the rest of the specifications such as Currency/Type , it will need to be done
from the Meta Trader manager side.
To Assign/Unassign a group to a trading account , navigate to:
Settings > Trading Platforms > Trading Platforms > Groups Assignment
Choose a Platform Server from the ‘'assign groups’' drop down
Click the group that you would like to Assign/Unassign
A button with the option to assign the group or Unassign it will appear as shown below
Important Note:
Multiple groups can be assigned to one trading account which will give the client the option to choose the base currency and the leverage they’d like to use for their trading account.
To export all the groups on CRM along with their specification as a CSV file, navigate to
Settings → Trading Platforms → Groups → Export button
What could go wrong?
The pump tool that automatically syncs the groups to the CRM may have stopped working.
