This feature enables you to automatically link a lead to the account of the referral through any method of customer registration on the CRM. Once set, if an account with this specific parameter is opened, it will automatically be linked with the agent’s account on the platform.
Please note, this feature is only available on the MetaTrader platforms.
How to Configure
To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > Portal > Portal Settings > Trading Platforms tab, and then:
Enable Platforms Agent Account
Insert the Platforms Agent Account Key, which is used to set the agent account on platforms
Once this has been enabled, the correct Marketing information metadata needs to be entered when creating a Lead. There are multiple ways for the metadata to be used:
Option 1:
Using Public Customer API, by adding in the body of the request {“agent_account” = {24658}}
Option 2:
Using the Customer Registration URL and adding query parameter ?agent_account={24658}
Option 3:
Adding manually by following the steps below:
Go to the Leads section and select the edit function relating to the lead.
When you are in the Lead’s profile details, scroll down to the Marketing Information and
Click the + Add metadata
Enter “agent_account” in the Metadata Key field
Insert the Metadata Value = the referral’s account trading account number
8. Click Save
The referral’s trading account number, which is linked to the lead, is now be visible in the customer’s details screen in MT Manager as shown below:
